Upcoming new bollywood movie Madras Cafe.
Bollywood actor-producer John Abraham on wednesday urged All of Chennai audience to support his upcoming movie Madras Cafe, which Tamil activists have deanounced as Anti-Tamil. John urged all of chennai to support Madras Cafe as a film and release it.
It is a credible film made with a lot of heart and it gives audience something novel to be entertained about.

This movie is directed by Shoojit Sircar and it is produced by John.
This movie is based on real story of Sri Lankan civil war that ended in 2009. The Madras Cafe movie team had to face the ire of Tamil activist groups such as Naam Tamizhar and MDMK who sought a ban on the film contending that it portrays Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) cadres as terrorists  John has said he won't give in to bullying tactics.

This movie has yet to get a clearance for Tamil Version from central board of film certification.A Madurai bench team observed this movie in Tamil version and said that it should not be released without an appropriate certificate and this case has been posted to september 3 said petitioner B stalin who is an advocate,had filed a PIL seeking a ban on the film,alleging that it contained objectionable.
